How do you know when you “Woot” just a little too much? The answer is simple: when you have a Leak Frog. While they are actually terribly useful, nobody besides another Wootaholic would understand. The minute I was able to talk Zankster into buying a Leak Frog was the minute I knew we could start this site. I had already been hooked for quite a while when Zankster started noticing Screaming Monkeys zinging by his head and bottles of Woot Wine carefully hidden at my desk. It wasn’t before long that Wooting became a ritual and part of our morning discussion. The Leak Frog is one of those things that looks silly at first and then you realize that you can soon justify the purchase to your wife. I placed mine down by my water heater to let me know if things go seriously wrong. The little guy starts screaming for his life should the metal pieces on the bottom come in contact with water. You’ll want to put this somewhere that just shouldn’t have water. The only time I have heard it so far is when I tested it out. Oh yeah, batteries are included. |
