Yes, this is a good price and a good starter camera. Keep this camera in your pocket or your purse for when you need a quick snapshot of something interesting. I’ve thought about picking up one of these for my kid. She’s three years old and loves to take pictures. It would keep her from using my camera. I have a Casio Exilim. A great camera that takes awesome pictures. I have have compared my pictures taken by a Kodak, Sony, Canon and other cameras. I like mine the best. All my kid needs is something like this Kodak. It’s at a great price, but don’t expect to have the best pictures in different lighting situations. Now, if you want really great quality pictures I suggest going with a different camera. But that’s expected. Check out some of our suggestions.

Here is yet another Polaroid high MegaPixel camera. This is for those of with small hands or pockets. The Ultra-Compact is part of the allure of this piece. It comes with the usual set of accessories and should fill most needs quite nicely. These nice little cameras are nice to take on vacations or other places where you don’t want to carry around a big camera big. This is small enough to just fit in your pocket or your wife’s purse. It’s one of those cameras that will is nice to carry around with you at all times because you never know when you may come upon a situation where you must absolutely take a picture. It takes up to a 2 GB SD card which should be fine for most everybody. If you’ve been thinking about picking up a small digital camera, this may be worth looking into a bit more.

Samsung S1050 10.1MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom and 3″ LCD

Samsung S1050 10.1MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom and 3 LCD Samsung S1050 10.1MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom and 3″ LCD

I was just thinking earlier today about how far the digital camera world has come. I remember that it wasn’t so long ago that people used cameras with film in them. Crazy, I know. Now you can get a 10.1MP camera for under $120 and it blows my mind. This is far beyond what most people would ever, or should ever, need. When you start getting up into this range you start seeing things in pictures you don’t really ever need to see. All of a sudden Aunt Madison’s mustache is crystal clear as well as that bit of eggnog that missed the mark. This is a great product for those of you who haven’t bought a camera in a while, or feel bored with what you currently have. I don’t see much of a need to upgrade from something you’ve bought in the last couple of years unless you really need it. With how quickly technology grows you don’t know where things will be in another couple of years. My rule on technology like this is to wait as long as you can until you purchase. That way you can get the most for your money. Take a look at other camera options as well as some great deals on memory cards. Enjoy!

Kodak 8MP Digital Camera and Multifunction Printer Bundle

A malfunctioned printer? Who wants a malfunctioned printer...Oh, wait, it says multifunction! Well, that explains a lot. Like , you can use this printer print, scan and copy. Sorry, no fax function here. Although, if you are smart, like me, you’d have figured out that you can scan a copy of your document onto your computer and use an online faxing service to send. Yes, I did figure that out on my own. I’m very perceptive when it comes to that sort of stuff.Plus you get a nice little 8MP camera. I hope I don’t have to explain what a digital camera is…If you don’t know, go check out Wikipedia.

Check out some of these accessories and product alternatives to consider.

I love Woot and everybody here should know this. Sometimes things aren’t always exactly as they seem. While this is a great price, I think that there are better options if you are in the market for a camera. While it’s a great price, I think a camera is one of those things where you will be best served spending a couple of extra bucks and getting a camera with stellar reviews with everything that you want. This could be a great starter camera for a young adult or a digital newbie, but if you want a camera to document the usual crazy hijinks of Aunt Jo this holiday season, check out some of the other Digital Camera choices from Amazon.
