Now we’re talking! This is the kind of product that Woot was built from. Imagine putting this into your home cable or satellite system and then be able to watch it on a laptop on the road. This makes it just like you were at home in front of the TV. Now when your Mom tells you that you have to go outside, take your laptop with you and watch everything from under the shade of your favorite apple tree.

If you travel at all, or don’t like being away from your TV, this is for you. There are some other slingboxes out there that do different things, so take a look around and see what fits you best.

Watch TV on your Radio - I mean computer

I guess this is buy gadgets so you can do things you don’t normally do on them. XM radio on an MP3 player last night and tonight we can watch HD info on our computer. I may just be old fashioned, but I prefer to watch my HD on my TV. I’m sure that the portability of this is nice, but I’m always leery about how well they work. These days in age, if I want to watch my TV on computer from away from home I’m going to go with Slingbox - which I have had heard great things about. Check out Amazon Slingbox
